Since 1968, MPA has been committed to environmentally-sustainable practices through an extensive program of stewardship - imposing accountability over the entire life cycle of every product and packaging component introduced into the market.

MPA’s comprehensive clean-tech remanufacturing process produces starters and alternators with superior performance and reliability, and makes a significant eco-efficiency impact on the environment. This is because remanufactured products begin with previously used core units that would otherwise be deposited in landfills.

Product recovery achieved by re-employing the durable components that don’t typically wear — including housings, magnets and stators — avoids millions of tons of trash every year and significantly reduces our environmental impact.
